Engaging in stage violence can be emotionally and physically challenging.
Come learn how to safely integrate stage combat choreography into your acting process while
collaborating with scene partners, directors and choreographers.
Topics covered may include hand to hand, falls, basic sword play.
Facilitator Bio:
George Ye has worked as a fight choreographer with nearly every theatre in San Diego including the La Jolla Playhouse, The Old Globe, San Diego Rep, Roustabouts Theatre, Cygnet Theatre, Diversionary Theatre, Moxie, SDSU, and more. He is a proud member of Actor's Equity, and Chair of the Dramatic Arts Program at San Diego Mesa College where he helps run The Mesa College Theatre Company, and teaches courses in performance, movement, stage Combat, and playwrighting.
